F.A.Q.
What exactly is Lexicon?
Lexicon is a desktop application focused on DJ library music management. Where all the big DJ apps have library management as an afterthought, in Lexicon it is the primary focus.
Lexicon lets you focus on keeping a clean, well organized library with its many tools at your disposal.
The big difference with DJ apps is that you can't mix tracks in Lexicon. Once you want to mix tracks, simply sync your Lexicon library to your favorite DJ app and start mixing.

What is Lexicon compatible with?
Lexicon is compatible with Windows 11 and macOS (Catalina and newer. Apple Silicon is supported. May work on older macOS versions, but not officially supported).
You can use libraries from Serato (Lite & Pro), Rekordbox (5, 6 & 7), Traktor Pro 3 & 4, VirtualDJ and Engine DJ. These have been tested with the latest versions, but earlier versions should also work.
The following music file types are supported: MP3, MP4, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, OGG, M4A, AAC.

What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are handled through FastSpring that accepts credit card, PayPal, Amazon Pay and many local payment methods. Please refer to their website for a full list of payment methods.
How and when can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time. If you are on the monthly plan, your subscription will end at your current month and no further payments will be made.
Canceling is easy. You will find the cancel button in the Lexicon settings under "Subscription". Or if you don't have Lexicon installed anymore, you can send your last receipt number (it looks like LEXICON123-456) to our support and we'll take care of it.

Can I get a refund?
We provide a 30 day money-back guarantee because we truly believe that you will love Lexicon.
If you are running into problems or Lexicon does not work for you, then we will try our best to fix the situation. If we can't find a solution, then we will refund you.

I already have a Rekordcloud subscription, do I need to pay again?
Your Rekordcloud subscription includes the Lexicon Basic plan.
If your Rekordcloud subscription is still active, you should login to Lexicon with that email. The first time you have to reset your password. You should have a Lexicon Basic subscription after that.
If you want the Pro features, you will need to enter your payment details again for the new Pro subscription. Your old Rekordcloud subscription will then be canceled. You can upgrade to Pro inside Lexicon.

What happens when my subscription expires?
Once your subscription expires, your Lexicon goes back into "demo mode" and you will lose access to most of the features. You will still be able to browse your library and create playlists, but you can't sync it to a DJ app anymore.
Your tracks and playlists won't be deleted, they will stay on your computer. If you ever decide to re-subscribe, you can continue where you left off. You won't lose anything.
If you were on the Pro plan, your cloud storage files will get deleted some time after your subscription expires.

What is Cloud Database Backup and Unlimited Cloud Storage?
Cloud Database Backup allows you to store your Lexicon database in the Lexicon cloud for safe keeping. You won't need to worry about losing your hard work.
Cloud Storage allows you to upload your music files to the Lexicon cloud. This serves as a backup of your music and lets you stream it to Lexicon even when you don't have the music files on your computer anymore.
Unlimited storage means practically unlimited and has a fair use policy. It's unlikely you will run into limits, but if you do, we will contact you for your future storage needs.
