Lexicon is not finding tags like Genre

You can let Lexicon fill in your missing track info like Genre, but sometimes it doesn't find anything.

Lexicon looks for your tracks by artist & title. So it is important that information is correct and clean. Often there is incorrect or messy information in a title that will cause the search to fail. So make sure your artists & titles are neat and correct!

Here are a few examples where the Find Tags tool will not be able to find results:

Problems with these tracks include:

• Missing artist: You will not get any results
• Unrelated info in the title tag: You may get results, you may get incorrect results or no results
• Common info in the title tag like (Dirty): This is ignored and you will still get results, but only if they are very common like Dirty, Clean, Extended, Radio Edit etc.

If you still don't get any results, maybe your track simply doesn't officially exist. Bootlegs, unknown remixes or unreleased tracks will most likely not give proper or any results.
