Lexicon 1.0 🎉

Rekordcloud proudly presents Lexicon 1.0

Written by: Christiaan Maks

Rekordcloud is proud to present Lexicon 1.0!

After almost two years of development and one year of alpha and beta testing, we're finally ready to launch Lexicon.

New to Lexicon?

Not sure what Lexicon is yet? Lexicon is the ultimate DJ library manager. With Lexicon you can save countless hours of boring work. Lexicon has tools made specifically for DJs that are designed to help you automate repetitive tasks and organize your library in a much better way.

You can manage your library in every DJ app, but Lexicon only does library management and no track mixing. If you're looking for a better and more powerful library manager; this is it.

For more information, check out the About page or the Features page. You can get started for free!

After 1.0

You must be wondering what version 1.0 means, is Lexicon done? The answer is short and simple: no. Lexicon is ready for use but it won't be done for a long time.

Lexicon will keep getting upgraded and improved as time goes on. If there are new technologies or trends then Lexicon may support them.

One of the big things after 1.0 is the mobile app. With the upcoming mobile app, you will be able to do basic library management tasks like setting cue points or creating playlists right from your phone.

There are plenty more ideas. If you have a great idea, please share them in our community!

Community

With the new Lexicon, we're also launching our DJ community! This is a friendly and helpful place to ask questions and learn about DJing and library management in particular.

The community is not just for Lexicon topics, you can discuss anything DJ related or just hang out and chill.

We hope to get a healthy, friendly and growing community going with a lot of resources to learn and have fun. Let's build this together!

You can find the dedicated forum here: Lexicon forum and you can join our Discord chat by using this link.

Special thanks

I'd like to give a special shout-out to all the brave DJs who tested Lexicon and kept using it despite the many bugs that we've squashed together 💪

There will be more cool things to test and you'll be the first to hear about it.
